JLD Enterprises
JLD Enterprises, an American gun manufacturing company, was founded in Farmington Connecticut in 1997 by Jose Luis Diaz.
In 2003, JLD Enterprises purchased the FMP arms plant in Portugal. FMP was an H&K licensed G3 manufacturer.
JLD purchased all of the toolinsg, machinery, original engineering drawings, and diagrams required to manufacture the H&K 91/G3 series of rifles.
JLD Enterprises manufactures clones of the HK-91 rifles, as well as a number of home-grown variants not offered by H&K.
JLD's HK-91's are known as PTR-91's. PTR stands for Precision Target Rifle.
